ACT Dawn Service commemorates the 106th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing
The 106th anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli has been commemorated at a ticketed Dawn Service event in Canberra. High-profile political figures and members of the public paid tribute to Australian soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. In his Dawn Service address Prime Minister Scott Morrison paid particular attention to the importance of family. He honoured the sacrifice of 41 Australians who have died in Afghanistan ahead of the departure of US and Australian troops.
