Turner Freeman Lawyers’ Gaius Whiffin has discussed issues relating to workers’ compensation given millions of Australian employees are now working from home. Mr Whiffin spoke to Sky News host Chris Smith about the different laws relating to compensation in states across Australia. He said employers “probably don’t” understand their obligations. “The workplace at home is the same as the workplace at work – it needs to be set up in an ergonomic manner … it needs to be set up, so that, in the same way it would be at work”.
