The world’s best men’s player purchased the waterfront home after it was built in 2019 for US$5.77 million.
However the sales tag fell short of its initial listing price of US$7.15 million, when Djokovic put it on the market just a month after buying it, the Wall Street Journal reported.
The 34-year-old has never lived in the unit which is located in the uber luxurious residence of Eighty Seven Park, which sits at the northern end of the famous Miami isthmus, across from Biscayne Point and overlooking the North Beach Oceanside Park.

Sales agent Wendy Mendoza of Cayhill & Dumott Real Estate said Djokovic has benefited from strong market conditions
“When we listed the market was soft, but obviously it picked up because of the pandemic,” Ms Mendoza said, New York Post reported.

“He held out. He was able to sell for more than he purchased.”
Djokovic’s former unit is located on the ninth floor of the 18-floor building. It was designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano,
