Queensland’s regional quarantine camp plan has been knocked back by the federal government for a second time. A new provision by the Morrison government requires state and territory proposed facilities to be built on commonwealth land – which Queensland’s camp is not. Mr Morrison previously accused the state government of failing to provide a detailed facility proposal when it was first denied and in response, Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk delivered a 95-page plan to National Cabinet yesterday.
