Police were called at 2.47pm on Thursday to Cedars Road to reports of a stabbing.
In Streatham, officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) found a male – believed to be in his late teens – with a stab wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead just before 5pm
Officers and the LAS attended where a man was found with multiple stab wounds, the Met Police confirmed.
He has been taken to a London hospital by London Ambulance Service and an update awaits on his condition.
Two men fled the scene by car and shortly after collided with another vehicle where they decamped on food.
No arrests have been made at this stage and road closures are in place on Cedars Road and the surrounding area. Enquiries continue and police remain on scene.
Regarding the incident in Streatham, the Met is continuing enquiries and has urged anyone with information to call police on 101 quoting CAD 5897/10JUNE.
